Vancouver, B.C. September 10th, 2025: Golden Pursuit Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: GDP) is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Almeida Rocha, MSc, MBA, ISP, GIT, as a Director and Chief Technology Officer of the Company. Ms. Rocha is an experienced geophysicist with extensive knowledge relevant to the development of gold and base metal resources and has been working on the company’s flagship project at Gordon Lake, situated 80 km north of Yellowknife, NWT.
It is the ambition of Golden Pursuit to develop in-house geophysical capabilities to incorporate into the exploration and development of its portfolio of projects in Nevada and the NWT. Ms. Rocha will lead the development of this component of the company and has extensive experience in conducting exploration on mineral projects in Canada and Brazil, utilizing and applying leading-edge geophysics. The company is also excited that Ms. Rocha has been accepted by Laurentian University as a PhD candidate with the Gordon Lake project as her thesis subject.
Gordon Lake has been extensively explored and mined, with an almost total emphasis on quartz veins. Exploration below 100 meters is non-existent, except for the Camlaren Mine, despite orogenic-type deposits being known to extend to great depths. These factors underscore the need to expand the known mineralization by utilizing geophysics as a primary tool for discovery. We are extremely pleased and confident in Ms. Rocha’s ability to succeed in this undertaking.
“We are delighted to welcome Amanda and her high-calibre skills to Golden Pursuit”, stated Brian McClay, President and Chief Executive Officer. “The proven expertise in utilizing specialized geophysics and resource modelling perfectly complements our existing exploration team. Amanda is already making an impact; her insights have significantly advanced our understanding of geophysics and geology, with a particular emphasis on drill targeting at Gordon Lake. This strategic appointment marks a significant step forward in unlocking the full potential of the Gordon Lake project.”
Golden Pursuit is a focused explorer concentrating on the high-grade, 100-per-cent-owned, exploration-permitted Gordon Lake gold project situated in the NWT, as well as a portfolio of exploration projects in Nevada. A strong technical team manages Golden Pursuit and will continue its mandate of creating shareholder value by acquiring and developing its 100% ownership in its North American portfolio of deposits.
The Company also announces that it has entered into a stock option agreement granting the right and option to purchase 400,000 common shares of the Company at $0.17 per common share exercisable in whole or in part on or before five years from September 10, 2025.
